Our Vetting Process for Mexico Property Listings

All the listings that make it to our pages of properties have gone through a due diligence process and have been vetted by MEXLAW to narrow down the research for our clients. You can view these properties in the privacy of your home without any pressure as you decide on all the factors that are of importance to you and your family's needs.

Pre-Sales

Due diligence process

  • Title of the property and tax information
  • What kind of structure does the developer have, and who owns the company?
  • Construction licenses
    • Rental Programs
  • Condominium regimen, if available

Once the review is complete, the Promise of Sale Contract will be revised, and you will review the contract with your broker and your lawyer before you sign. Remember, once it is signed, it is the absolute proof between the buyer and developer that a legal agreement has been entered into.

Remember, the Promise of Sale Contract is the only claim and evidence of purchase. It is not a title of the property. The property title can only be issued when the developer obtains its Condominium Property Regime.
